Since 1763 the name 'Russborough' has been synonymous with collecting and dealing in fine art. In the closing decades of the last century the historic town of Port Hope has become home to Lord Russborough's Annex, which specialises in an individual mix of antique maps, paintings and prints.

While Lord Russborough's Annex features a great many works of museum calibre, we also offer a wonderful selection of prints priced at under $100.

Field Marshal Henry William Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey,  KG GCB. GCH PC  (17 May 1768 – 29 April 1854), styled Lord Paget between 1784 and 1812 and known as the Earl of Uxbridge between 1812 and 1815, at the time of this letter he held the rank of Maj. Gen.
The 21st. Reg. of Light Dragoons were indeed garrisoned at Woodbridge Barracks in 1805 where a Garrison ball was given by the officers in Jan 1805.

With great aplomb at the Battle of Waterloo he remarked “By God, Sir, I’ve lost my leg.”
To which Wellington replied, with equal restraint: “By God, Sir, so you have.”

Twice Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland, he died in 1854 and is buried in Lichfield cathedral.
